M Norm Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Meditek India. It is mainly used in the treatment of menorrhagia and dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
M Norm Syrup Ingredients:
Each 5 ml contains in mg of
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 500 mg
Sariva – Hemedismus indicus – 50 mg –  It is widely used in the treatment of oligospermia, gastritis, anorexia, menorrhagia etc
Vacha – Acorus calamus – 50 mg
Vidanga – Emblica ribes – 50 mg
Saraca ashoka -300 mg – It regulates menstrual bleeding, act as uterine tonic
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa – 150 mg – It is Best Ayurvedic herb used to reduce excess menstrual bleeding.
Bilva – Aegle marmelos – 50 mg
Shunti – Zingiber officinale – 25 mg
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 50 mg
Musta – Cyperus rotunds – 50 mg
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosa – 75 mg – It reduces excess menstraul bleeding, used in infertility.
Amla – Emblica officinalis -100 mg
Mimosa pudica – 50 mg – Useful in female reproductive system related disorders such as heavy periods
Celery – Carum roxburghianum – 50 mg
MNorm Syrup Indications:
Menorrhagia, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, irregular menstruation, uterine- tonic, metrorrhagia.
Dosage: 15-30 ml thrice a day
How long to take:
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.
MNorm Syrup Side effects:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
