Diamel Powder is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Nagarjuna Company. It is mainly used in the treatment to reduce fatigue and general weakness.
Diamel Powder Ingredients:
Bhadrika – Aerva Lanata – 5 grams
Asana – Pterocarpus marsupium – 5 grams
Thakram – Buttermilk – 7.813 ml – Useful to overcome weakness and anaemia.
Diamel Powder Indications:
Diamel is a natural ingredient formulation used in the management of diabetes mellitus.
Its regular usage reduces fatigue, general weakness, excessive thirst and perspiration related with diabetes mellitus.
Dosage: 10 grams to be taken with 60 ml of lukewarm water twice daily before food.
How long to take:This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.
Diamel Powder Side effects:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
