Dhatryadi Gritham is a herbal ghee formulation, where in one of the main ingredient is 'dhatri' i.e amala.

Indication:

1. menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, schizophrenia,
2. alcoholism.
3. Anemia, female infertility.
4. Pitta diseases.Also used in snehana karma.

Effect on tridoshas: balances pitta.

Dosage:

1/4-1/2tsf followed by hot-warm water once or twice or as directed by the physician.

Vidari rasa – Pueraria tuberosa – juice – 768 ml

Ikshu rasa – Sugarcane juice – 768 ml

Kushmanda rasa – Benincasa hispida – 768 ml

Ghee – 768 ml

Kshira – Milk – 768 ml

Mridvika – raisins

Yasthyahva – Glycyrrhiza glabra

Chandana – sandal wood – Santalum album

Sita – sugar
