Dosage and Adjuvants

Prepare decoction with 1-5 gms of powder and take 2-3 times a day after food. Indications : Irumal (cough), Iraippu (spasm), Iraippirumal (asthma), Eelai (phlegmatic condition), Pugaindhu irumudhal (irritative cough), jaladosham/Neerdosham (common cold), Durgandha Kozhai (stinking sputum), Pun vidam (simple toxins), Visha alasa roga (toxaemic stage due to food infection), vaandhi (emesis / vomitting), marbu noi (chest disorders), Gunmam (gastritis), soolai (Colic), Piththadhikkam (biliousness), Kirukiruppu (vertigo), Mudhugu vali (backache/notalgia), porumal (flatulence), Erivu/kaanthal (burning sensation), thaagam (dypsia), malachikkal (constipation), pun (ulcers), Narambu vadhavali (neuralgia), and palvali (odontalgia).
